District President and business juniors visit Brasseler
Lemgo, 12 March, 2024
The District President of Detmold, Anna Katharina Bölling, was recently a guest at Brasseler at the invitation of the IHK Lippe zu Detmold Junior Chamber of Commerce. We support this format of networking between young entrepreneurs and managers with politicians, because it’s only in a joint dialog with various stakeholders that we can drive the economy in OWL forward in a sustainable manner.
During a tour in the production facilities of our Medical unit with Stephan Köhler and Klaus Rübesamen, the participants were able to view the expanded production area. Other highlights included our cleanroom, the innovative “Dentything” ERP system and Industry 4.0 in the production of our carbide instruments.
In the subsequent discussion round with the district president, the young entrepreneurs focused on the need to reduce bureaucracy. From Brasseler’s point of view, Klaus Rübesamen explained how many tons of paper must be enclosed with products every year for the instructions for use. According to current EU law, the mass of dental consumables must not be provided with electronic instructions. This is in clear contrast to the EU’s required “Green Deal”, so a political decision must be brought about in Brussels.
We would like to join the guests in praising this event and thank all participants for their interest. Many thanks to Christina Flöter for choosing our company to host this event.
