On October 20, we reached another important milestone this year: the topping-out ceremony for our new company building “Building 2022” in Lemgo.

It is an important component on our path to manufacturing excellence at the highest level: data-based, Industry 4.0 as part of our DNA, lean management. The transformation which began in 2018 is helping to expand our international competitiveness.

Stephan Köhler, Chairman of the Management Board, refers to this in his speech: “What counts for the future is not so much who we are today, but who we want to be in the future and what we want to achieve – 100 years of preparation for tomorrow.”

Around 200 guests gathered to celebrate with us despite the adverse weather conditions: Markus Baier, Mayor of the Old Hanseatic City of Lemgo, Chamberlain Frank Limpke, and numerous colleagues and partners from the planning team and the construction companies involved.

The largest group of participants consisted of the colleagues who will be moving into the building.

Kirsten Niehus, representing the owner family, emphasizes: “The new building reflects Brasseler’s values: the investment in Lemgo reflects our commitment to the city. This project was approached and has been implemented with passion. It shows our vision, with which we develop new concepts that are applied on a large scale. In this building, we are creating modern working conditions in which we hope you will feel comfortable. This is an important prerequisite for doing good work.”
